flimflam is moving into its eighteenth year, which will start with another crackling night of music.
As usual there are three acts – two duos and a choir! There is the vastly experienced duo of Harrison Smith‘s saxophones and Jim Dvorak on trumpet; ex-Ascension drummer Tony Irving, resident in Brisbane for some years now, reunited with former Brisbane resident, now based in London, Massimo Magee on saxes; and Phil Minton‘s Feral Concord – so far confirmed for the choir are Phil (of course), Alan Wilkinson, Kay Grant, Armorel Weston, Veryan Weston, Lauren Kinsella, Illi Adato, Jim Dvorak, John Eyles, Tim Fletcher …watch this space for more.
