Onwards and upwards and the next flimflam features three great trios. Sax, clarinet and flute player Tom Ward will be joined by two Portuguese musicians, Sérgio Tavares on dbl bass and Nuno Trocado on guitar and electronics; saxophonist Rick Jemsen is bringing his trio with Jordan Muscatello on dbl bass and Ravi Low-Beer on drums; and Alan Wilkinson will be joined by the trumpet of Kevin Davy (fresh from touring the world with Cymande!) and the drums of Gary Wilcox.
Incidentally, this last trio will also be playing at Jazz Rumours on Sunday 3 November augmented by Dave Tucker on guitar.
