FlimFlam’s birthday month

This month flimflam will be celebrating its 11th anniversary at Ryan’s Bar in Stoke Newington (didn’t get round to celebrating the 10th so thought I’d do it this year).

We’ve got a couple of great gigs and the 18th will be filmed by the Luxembourg film maker Antoine Prum, who made the Sunny Murray doc Sunny’s Time Now, as part of a documentary about English Improvised Music. This gig will also be captured by artist Gina Southgate and a great evening is anticipated. As the founder and organiser of the club I’ve taken the liberty of putting myself in both weeks, firstly with probably my longest standing collaboration and on the 2nd in something entirely new. Hope to see you.
